TKM Update - Here's what's been happening in April!

Hey team, its Chris here. We're moving to a monthly update so that the comms remain on target and we keep our promise of not spamming. I hope you enjoy - and if not, do email me with feedback at chris@tangokilomike.org

Hey everyone,

We have some exciting news to share with you this month. Firstly, we are thrilled to announce that our Kora fuel cards are now live. With these cards, you can get consistently greater discounts on your fuel at Mobile fuel stations than other brands, and at the same time, you will be helping save lives. I will provide you with more information on this below. Secondly, we have a special guest lined up for an interview on our Instagram page. We will be interviewing Damien Porter, ex Special Forces Operative, cop, and firefighter. Finally, our 0800 number to receive non-urgent support through our partners Te Heke Mai has reverted to a standard landline number.

Read on to find out more about these updates.

Kora fuel cards now live!

We are proud to introduce our Kora fuel cards, which are now available to our members. With these fuel cards, you will receive consistently greater discounts on your fuel purchases at Mobil, Waitomo and Allied fuel stations. By using these fuel cards, you can save money on your fuel purchases while also supporting a great cause. You can choose the portion of the proceeds of each fill-up that goes towards supporting our charity's purpose.

One of the most significant benefits of using these fuel cards is that you can help save lives while also saving money. Every time you fill up your vehicle with Kora fuel, you are contributing to our charity's projects. These projects include providing psychological first aid to our communities, providing the specialist care to those who need it, and supporting the families of those in need.

.

Furthermore, our Kora fuel cards are easy to use, and there are no hidden fees or charges. You can use these cards at over 300 fuel stations across NZ, and the discounts you receive will be applied automatically at the pump.

Additionally, you can top up your fuel cards online, making it easy and convenient to manage your fuel expenses. Did we mention that they also plug into accounting software like Xero for those who are tradies? We didn't? Our bad!

If you are interested in getting a Kora fuel card, please visit our website at www.kora.co.nz/tangokilomike. You can purchase the cards online, and they will be delivered to your doorstep within a few days.

Interview with Damien Porter

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting an 'ask him anything' interview with Damien Porter, former Special Forces Operative police officer and firefighter on our Instagram page. We'll be going live on 8th May at 5pm NZ time.

Damien has had an incredible career, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to learn more about his experiences and insights. During the session, Damien will be discussing his experiences in the Special Forces, his time as a cop and firefighter, and how his experiences have shaped him as a person. He will also be answering questions from our audience, so this is your chance to ask him anything you've ever wanted to know about anything he's done.

We believe that Damien's story is both inspiring and informative, and we hope that his insights will help our members to gain a better understanding of the challenges faced by those in the emergency services. We also believe that this session will be a great opportunity for our members to connect with each other and to learn from one another. If successful, we'll look to do more.

We encourage all of our members to tune in and to participate in the discussion.
