Ambassador Vitor, climbing the Sky Tower

Recently the annual Sky Tower challenge was set upon by the fire service operators and volunteers across New Zealand.

The challenge is as follows - wearing full fire fighting kit and breathing apparatus, ascend the Sky Tower from ground to the top as quickly as possible. To put into context:

• The Sky Tower is 328m high, the tallest building in the southern hemisphere

• There are 51 flights of stairs to navigate

This isn't the first time that Vitor has done this. Indeed, he is the 'hero' in our hero pic on our main page.
